Macbeth
Shakespeare meets folk horror in this tale of ambition, prophecy, and the corrosive effects of power, viscerally embodied by an all-female company.
A traitor is defeated in battle and slain. A man will stop at nothing to become king. A wife incites her husband to murder. All the while, three witches watch, pulling the strings as they amuse themselves with the affairs of mankind. Is ambition the inescapable, eternal folly of man? Or are stronger forces at work?
